agreed, if he could improve his stamina somehow he could be an absolute monster
he is already a top 10 excellent fighter but a better gas tank could be that one extra step for him

thats not going to happen..50 something pro fights..on top of him getting older..frankly its amazing he has made it as far as he did with such a big flaw...a mexican that gasses out :dahell:...some unicorn shyt right there lol

Me too and Canelo aint shyt, I just cant respect him after getting completely dismantled by Floyd, Trout and Lara shouldve beat him as well....Watching tape Canelo was more of a master boxer at 154, as his weight got higher and higher, his speed faded, he stop throwing his A plus jab,and hes a counter hook and overhand haymaker guy, well coupled with a stamina issue and cement feet that turns him to a straight up and down fighter for the most part; exactly how he lost 4 rounds to Khan and was eating jab all day vs GGG......Canelo needs to put his punches together like he used to, he has to learn how to fight coming forward as well; activity beats lazy counterpunchers which is why ggg is a bad matchup for him.....Glitchy fighter his weaknesses cancels his strengths
Been watching a lot of Canelo lately. Dude is such a master boxer. Very underrated in terms of skill. Absolutely love his foot work.

WBC Prez: Thurman Has To Fight Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia!

By Miguel Rivera

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman has revealed that his organization granted a special permit to welterweight champion Keith Thurman, so he could make an optional defense on May 19th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

However, following that voluntary defense - Thurman is then bound to fulfill back to back mandatory obligations - against Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia.

"On Saturday Danny won the eliminator (against Brandon Rios), but Thurman has a voluntary because of the injury that he had - but after that he has to do a mandatory with Porter and Garcia. At the end fight from last Saturday, Porter went up to the ring to challenge Garcia and we are going to see if they are actually going to face each other. But yes, they are the two mandatory challengers," said Sulaiman to ESPN Deportes.

WBC needs to mind their fukking business wants Swift to demolish that bum ass nikka Porter for running his mouth throwing exposed terms out; when granados with some the most struggle hands I seen have this boy stumbling around the ring and surviving.....They trying to make these two not fight......

But not mad at the WBC in the same instance seems they are all aboard on the fukk Thurman express........

Awaits more fukkery:ahh:

He’s 27, hasn’t got a lot of mileage on him despite the early start and stamina is something which can be improved, it depends on work ethic... He knows this flaw too btw

I’d say bad stamina is one of the flaws whis are the easiest to correct cause it isn’t that dependent on genetics as speed or power

history is not on his side on that one
might be true but you have to take into consideration that most of the Mexican dudes who started very young also had a style which is taxing to the body and many times competed in lower divisions where fighters fade earlier anyway (because the highlighted importance of speed and reflexes compared to heavier divisions)
as opposed to that Canelo doesn't have a style which would be particularly taxing and he also competes in a higher division than usually Mexican fighters are
