All the matter in the universe randomly was assembled and compressed into the object the size of a golf ball.....before it randomly exploded and expanded into everything we know as the universe, randomly of course.

What you've written doesn't qualify as a scientific explanation. It's a strawman.

Oh so this Big Bang Theory is not an explanation of how our known universe was formed. I see :leostare:

It is a scientific theory of how our known universe was formed, but what you wrote wasn't simply the Big Bang theory. You added "randomly" in several places and also added something about the origin/creation of all matter.

The Big Bang is currently the best description of how the universe expanded. It says nothing about whether the process was random or not, or about the origin of matter.

bubbles are round because air pressure is equal on all sides.

if you fire a bullet parallel to a flat surface, it will hit that flat surface at the same time as a bullet that is simply dropped from the same height because gravity is acting on both equally.

This. Furthermore, the most that can be said of the singularity that expanded, is that it was incredibly dense - not that it was "the size of a golf ball".

Not trolling, but can we be sure of that? no really is that part of the science...i'm not sure how that's proven or even if it can be or do we just theorize that it is? ? ?

I guess it would just seam odd to me that out in "space" there was just 1 little DENSE AS FUK dot floating around and then for no good reason it just decided 1 day to explode? Or maybe for good reason...

I think myself and a few other posters has said this ad-infinitum and these cats never let that sink in.

can we be sure of what? yes, we're absolutely sure that the universe was at one point, infinitely small, infinitely dense and infinitely hot. The expansion allowed our universe to cool which brought about everything we see today. There was no "time" (time being semi-infinite in the direction of expansion) before expansion so your whole concept of "it just decided one day to randomly explode" doesn't even make sense.

wasn't sure i'm not a physicist

So this ball of hot dense stuff do we no where it came from? Or we still working on that right? (again not trolling just want to make sure i didn't miss some "news" ).
