One question.. When Lao first called Hector he hung up after he heard some disturbance. Was that because he felt the call was tapped by Gus? if so, why call back and inform Hector it's going down tonight?
I took him saying that as a way to get Gus' people on high alert which lead to them pulling security away from everybody to protect Gus. That allowed Lalo to get to Kim and Saul.

in a lot of ways, Gilligan has created what Fargo the movie was all about...people who have no business being involved in the elements they're in getting deeper & deeper in it, and ruining all the lives around them.

I also love how they challenge expectations, and challenge the viewers for how they respond to the story. They didn’t let us off the hook either.

They set Howard up to be the bad guy from day one, but he genuinely tried to be a good person every step of the way. Even when we didn’t like some of his moves, it wasn’t motivated in maliciousness. Not like Jim and Kim.

Jimmy and Kim are not heroes. They’re fukked up, damaged people fukking up everyone around them (eventually themselves too), and all anyone could talk about is “what’s gonna happen to Kim” and “she better not die”.

Do people still feel that way, knowing what we know about her now? Cause the crazy part is, Kim showed us who she was since at least last season. We just didn’t care. shyt is wild in hindsight.

Because he fed them misinformation. And he also used the call to confirm his suspicions, which happened when all Gus’s soldiers mobilized.

That’s also why lalo paid Jim a visit, instead of Gus.

The thing which I predict when we return after the break that Mike's watching their house as well. That conversation Mike had with Kim is essential information that we need to remember.

That said I dunno why Lalo went to see Jimmy, Maybe to explain Nacho's relationship. Jimmy doesn't know Gus or anything on that end. Whatever it is, I think Mike is going to interrupt everything and Lalo is going to escape from there. This would lead as to why to the times of Breaking Bad, Saul is going to still think Lalo is still alive and is paranoid over the fact because he's unaware of Lalo's fate. I DO predict also that this will prompt Kim to disappear and create a new identity due to the threat of Lalo.

:wow:damn Howard was a smug b*stard but still thou that was mess up :to: But I wonder if all this could have been avoid if mike or kim had told jimmy that lalo was still alive I dont think jimmy would have stay with the con on Howard if he knew lalo was alive he would have want to go on the run with kim. Also I really think him finding out from kim herself that she knew lalo was alive and did not tell him will cause jimmy to become the saul goodman we see in breaking bad:demonic:

You right look at kim she got off on doing small time con jobs with jimmy than you had mike:birdman:telling her she tougher than jimmy but thing is if jimmy had know that lalo was alive he would have call off the con on Howard and get out of town because he know if mike had to chose between proteacting gus or them mike will chose gus.

Yeah, the line was tapped and he knew it. When he said "it's going down tonight" it was to get the security of Jimmy's house so that he could go there. Mike's guys had been still following Kim just to keep an eye out. Mike told Gus that they pulled the security off of "the low priority targets" (Jimmy and Kim being two of them), and this freed up Lalo to go see Jimmy and Kim undisturbed.
