I'm not buying this Gus plot. Gus fring would never be so sloppy to lead the Salamancas to nacho who could tell them everything Gus did

Yeah I don't think it's Lalo, he abandoned the plan of going across the border after he spoke with Hector. He's probably in Mexico waiting for his cousins to bring back Nacho.
It makes sense for Hamlin to have someone tailing Jimmy since he's been fukking with him for a while. Realistically, he would have heard from other members of the club Jimmy was in their causing a scene while he was golfing as well.

That's what I'm saying. Why would Gus allow Nacho to get tortured when he will just reveal his own role in the plot as well? It would make sense for him to send his own people to kill Nacho but not give info to Bolsa which will allow the cousins to get involved.
Amazing part of that scene is the framing where Saul is kept out of the shot, even for a reaction, until it's all over. Think the most you see is him almost a shadow in the background.
Great opener.

This and breaking bad are one of the only shows where I feel it gets better as the seasons go on… loving this premiere

No Gus had Mike and them set nacho up with the letter in the safe. Mike wanted them to do right by nacho and let him live, that was the whole respect speech. Gus was the one who wanted him dead
I think Mike still followed orders tho. At that point he fell back n decided to try n save Nacho's dad. Thats why Nacho’s ID was put in the new safe but not his fathers
