Was there algorithms in those early YouTube days? There wasn’t even ads yet. I’m sure the writers will make it come together somehow though. Could be off but just a hunch.

Would be a terrible idea to have a 90 year old woman, who just discovered funny cat videos on the internet, to out of the blue start researching Saul Goodman and report to the authorities.

If she's the one to expose Gene as Saul, the better idea (and probably more realistic for someone her age) is if she's at the police station and sees the flyer on their bulletin board that was featured in one of the teasers.
