Personally, i redeemed my code weeks ago but i didnt actually download the dlc until yesterday. I thought the dlc was on disc but if you go to add ons, select china rising you see its 14.99. if you select the 14.99 field it will expand to another option that says *free* from here you can download the dlc and then it will unlock when you open battlefield. Its a 3 gig install.
You doing this from the PSN store or the BF4 in game store?
Go the dashboard. Youll see battlefield 4. You should see something like additional options or something. From there you have to navigate to the china rising dlc and youll see options to purchase for 14.99 from there u select it and then the field will expand to another option that says free. Select that and proceed.

I tell everyone starting out play lots of tdm gets your reflexes right you develop a play style and figure out what guns you comfortable with.

That's what I've been doing. I only play Domination unless i'm playing with the coli crew. I was getting my ass handed to me when I first started, but that helped.
I rarely fire from the hip. Dude can be 2 feet away from me and i'll still end up shooting down sight. One thing I gotta stop doing is accidentally swinging my knife during a gun fight. I got better at it, but that shyt is frustrating when it happens.

and one of them kits says someshyt about being able to carry one extra grenade, how the fukk do you activate that shyt damnit
Especially on the 360. I feel you on that empty clip shyt, though in my experience I've seen most of them while they have around 1% health
