I'm late, but this shyt just blew my mind.

I sat here and watched the whole thing from start to finish.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm a little concerned about where these games are going.
Bare with me, see if you can follow. I've heard/read/seen plenty of things that say Videogames are demonic. Maybe gaming isn't demonic at its roots, but gaming just like anything is controlled by its creators. Music, especially in hip-hop per say is coming from a very demonic place

Its no secret, the only thing we want from games is action. And its getting so realistic that its desensitizing us to violence.
Now when they tried to pull that argument with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas I was like :comeon:
But now games like this mimic real life. And at times while watching I was getting bored. And felt like "shyt, I'd rather just really go out there and shoot a muthafukka" before laughing to myself that a thought like that would even pop into my head

But it did. Now imagine somebody 52yrs younger than me being exposed to this time of gaming. How would it shape them? :whoo:
I don't know, and that worries me...

I'm put it to you like this. You know how they try to tie videogaming to every majory tragedy that involves anyone 23 and under?

This next gen will add validity to that thought process. I personally find it insane to think GTA PS2 could make anyone over the age of 18 desensitized to shyt
But I do recall the graphics in GTA4 being so realistic that I found myself speeding while I drove one day. I don't even recall exactly how, just that driving a real car and a car in GTA4 felt "similar" to where I was like if I did something it would be like in GTA4

Can't remember honestly exactly what it was, but I wrote it down on sohh :hula:
When watching this video, I was feeling similar feelings of I don't know, like if I was in the game because at times it looked so realistic.
Like I imagined if I was playing using that Oculus rift thingy or whatever.
And how I "could" feel immersed. So while all this is happening I was getting bored of watching the shyt move along at the pace it was and inside I felt like "man, why would ppl play this instead of just going out and doing the real thing"
Then immediately I was like :snoop:

We know how plenty of ppl live to rank up. Want the highest K/D ratio
All that requires extensive amounts of hours to be put into these games
Will they be shell shocked once they done playing?
I wouldn't be surprised if gamers start to have symptoms like War Veterans if what I'm talking about isn't observed carefully.
We as a society usually won't think like this til AFTER A TRAGEDY but sometimes the writing is on the wall...

:upsetfavre: you are going to get your feelings hurt

well maybe not as much, this is really battlefield 3.5 meaning its still considered last gen PC. PS4/720 has been compared to this gen highest PC rig if I understand it correctly.

No as time progress and DICE makes that full jump to with a upgrade engine and the PCs done upgrade again, then our feelings will be hurt

pretty much we gonna be in the same position we was with battlefield modern combat on the xbox to 360

notice around this time its pretty much wasnt a different between the 360 and PC at that time

We should be good with the ps4/720 for this game

The FPS game has been changed forever

Only thing really missing that would solidify their future is a gore engine. Inside every enemy are organs, blood, etc, damaged and torn apart at respectable levels.

Thats a bad example, because Battlefield 2 for the PC was never a graphic juggernaut.. EA was pretty behind quake/unreal engine at the time..

Yeah, I can't front. That gameplay looked damn near real at some points.

Only thing I can say is, parents can't let their kids play or sit around and watch people play stuff like this.
