This is EXACTLY what leagues shoulda kept focusing on.
Making sure that a loss kept holding weight, so the competition kept itself alive naturally and high-skilled talent would float to the top that way too.
Crippling the power that the humiliation of losing had for quick funds, was one of the worst things to happen to the culture and long-term development of Battlerap.
That shyt was funny and a healthy display of humbling needed in Battlerap.
Remember when Battlers couldn’t come outside for weeks/months after a loss? Humiliation was THAT powerful
