I know mad nikkas who been shot over nothing. My homie died in the 7th grade over a Helly Hansen. My cousin's homie was stabbed and couldn't walk again over some Jordans. I think we like to romanticize the past. nikkas getting shot over stupid shyt been happening before we was even born bro.

I think social media just exposes us to so much news now it feels like it happens more but that's really just because we have so much news constantly in our face about bad shyt. Growing up we just mainly saw what was happening locally and there usually wasn't videos and stuff.
