I tried to watch Bdot/Nitty because of the comments in here. Im watching Bdot go off in the 2nd, and the only thing im thinking is he shouldve saved this for a real battle. None of these "quarantine" wins or losses are gonna matter once real events resume.
But i guess the flipside though is a matchup like Bdot and Rum probably doesnt even get booked to begin with if everything was still the same

I feel like it depends tho. Do you mean the RBE Quarantine joints or the joints SMACK URL got on the app? Because on the app, the Quarantine battles are teasers to see if these battles can be on the bigger stages once places are able to have bigger events. The RBE joints....yeah I can understand because they're not saying all that. Unless you like some creative and scenic visuals to match up with content, I can see you not wanting to check them out. I think its helped RBE level up some more because they dropped them back to back and still had content from their last big event. And SMACK URL is able to keep the content coming with their paying subscribers.

Nope. Not rockin' with y'all on that. We can agree to disagree. Look, they got it in, they got paid for the battles, certain folks got flown from point A to point B, and they are documented. Crowd or not. Event or no event. It's there. It's there for everyone to see. I guess maybe I just go by a battle being battle and that's it. All this well it didn't count because there isn't a event poppin' shyt don't mean anything to me. I mean, the league recorded it, sponsored it, and put it out to the public for consumption. Tomorrow isn't promised. There may not be a "real event" for who knows how long bro. 5 months ago who would've guessed we'd be here? A year from now the whole world may be shut down for something else. We don't know anymore. They gotta get what they can get.
And while I definitely prefer settings with fans, I'm really over large crowd battles. Events with a lot of people almost always come out lackluster. I think Volume settings are the best kinda PPVs. What we have now is probably closer to that, than stage battles, which is why I probably enjoy them.
Facts these battles definitely count. I don't care about "This ain't a real battle" battlers trying to use as an excuse for a loss. You wrote your rounds, you won or lost. None of this other shyt.

But yeah if anything, they should be more prepared because they have no excuse of "crowd throwing me off" etc...people who aren't performing well are the ones who aren't good lyricist/rappers. It's exposing the nikkas who rely on everything but actually battle rapping.
