The guy has such narrow taste when it comes to rap, it’s pathetic. It’s basically east coast rap, and anything he knows from other regions are just the mainstream releases.

It’s even more narrow than that. It’s east coast and only hardcore east coast rap. Anything remotely mainstream that isn’t hardcore/gangster rap he hates. He’s the old NY head. I grew up around them. He’s probably a good 5-7 years older than me so the generation gap shows in what we listen to.

Yeah PSA will never grow as an overall hiphop channel due to his limitations. Watson doesn't get to fully showcase what he knows either.

I'm actually surprised he's such a hardcore Jay-Z fan, just due to that fact that Jay embraced mainstream rap, and isn't as rugged as the guys he prefers to listen to.
