From my observation Jey has
• A mediocre pen
• No breath-control
• Lackluster delivery
• No quotables
Jey’s just.. tall lol
I mentioned the same thing a while ago
Suge does a LOT more with a mediocre pen which is very clear when I compare him as an overall battler to Jey.
Hopefully Jey will figure out how to improve himself and I’ll give him his flowers when that time is there, but thusfar he just doesn’t move me as a battler.
I don’t dislike him or sumn, he’s just bland imo lol

Jey delivery is fire to me, I agree he doesnt have those viral quotables, but I fukk with the way he raps heavily

I hate when he does that whisper shyt at the start of his rounds. But when he turns up his delivery is dope indeed. His round vs mad face on bl6 went viral iirc.

They’re still both “mediocre pen battlers” regardless if Jey’s technique is better than Suge
Suge has a lot more quotables than Jey and does them more often.
Technique doesn’t matter if it ain’t quotable.
There’s an art in making things quotable, we’ve witnessed the value of that firsthand with Eazy all 2021
There was an art in Goodz defusing Danja’s round like that
We all understand this in Battlerap watching Danja vs Goodz as an extreme example of that fact.
You haven’t mastered your pen if you can’t make it quotable. Which comes down to the same thing I said. Suge gets MORE out of his mediocre pen because he mastered the art of quotables that Jey hasn’t.CLASSIC moment in battlerap

Yea you right, I misread what you said earlier my bad
With that said, I still disagree that Suge does "more", unless you mean the performance he adds (if so, disregard the rest of the next few sentences). Jey can go to different places with his pen than Suge. Yes he's had some airballs but he's also had angle-based rounds, conscious rounds, and turnt up rounds that hit. Suge is much more one-dimensional imo
Now as far as being more quotable, I'm a Jey fan so obviously I replay his shyt more than the average fan would. But idk fam, the last time Suge bar I remember verbatim is the jackhammer bar he had for Ave whatever year that was.
Suge cool, but let's not sit here and act like ppl are repeating Suge bars like that. And he definitely don't got a round that people are re-posting on Youtube like this

Unpopular Opinions About Battle Rap
Lol, no wonder me and you don't really be seeing eye to eye sometimes. Ooops, I can kinda understand because he is hit or miss when it comes to his actual battles; outside of his battles, he gives you accolades and etc. Casey Jay has leveled off and it has shown since she has been with the Bardashians (which is sad). Everybody hates JJDD on here so I'm the odd man out since I don't mind him, lol. But Charron and Bill put in work tho so you must really really really really really really hate them; like you don't give them wins even when they do good or if they have a classic. Interesting list.
