See Geechi talking shyt like this, I can deal with it because he has shown and proven himself win or lose every battle. Not mad at this. But at the same time, shyt is pretty funny with him throwing in that Dr. Seuss bit. Lol.
Geechi clearly dont know how one liners work. You dont have much room for too many syllables/big words when youre doing that, other than that Surf is a great rhymer; meanwhile Geechi spends an entire 4 bar set up on low hanging fruit.
Hollow against Lux is the best Hollow we ever saw. But he’s had other great performances, particularly early on, that’s how he got the rep and the Lux battle in the first place (Big T battle, he was very good against Verb despite losing, shyt he did on Grindtime). But the Lux battle is the biggest part of Hollow’s rep.

That’s what I said lol. Hollow already had the rep, that’s how he got the Lux battle in the first place. The Roc and Clips battles came after though, and the Surf battle was one of his worst performances up to that point.

Nah. Hollow is definitely not at the level he’s at without the Lux battle. He’s still a legend but he’s not in that GOAT/Mt Rushmore convo that he’s in after he battled Loaded (a lot of people don’t have him there anymore, but he was in a shoe in alongside Mook and Lux up until a couple of years ago, and all three have had holes poked into their resume since to be fair).Surf was one of his worst

His Surf battle AT THE TIME was definitely not seen as one of his better battles. Fans thought he lost in the moment but Surf has enough haters/Hollow has enough fans that it became “debatable” but it definitely wasn’t one of his stronger showings. Not saying he was wack or even average, just that it wasn’t the Big T battle or anything.
