I can honestly say that every top tier battler, whether I like them or not, has a strong performance I can point to where they would have been damn near impossible to beat that night.
I don’t see how you don’t think he was on 10 for the hollow battle, but he’s never been your cup of tea anyway.
Hollow battle never even crossed my mind. But yeah that’s probably his best performance. My personal favorite, and really maybe the only Verb I really liked, was his first against Goodz.
I can recognize that Verb is a great battler only based on everyone else saying it, but I’ve rarely heard him do anything I felt was impressive enough to justify it. But that’s just perspective/personal taste. I actually feel similarly about Pat Stay, though I find him more entertaining than Verb.
Crazy enough, O-Red did Yung Ill worse that night then Verb did Cortez.
