Surf is doing good for himself, but he comes off ignorant to someone that really been playing with money for a minute. You can tell Surf just started getting real money by how he flaunts it and what he identifies as important.

Surf the type to think someone doesn't have money because they don't have a AP or designer sneakers.

When he stops calling you a dummy he’s just trying to sneak a shot in and dip out the exchange because he knows he’s in over his head

I don't think ARP is wrong for defending his brand, but I also don't think what Surf said really has an effect on how RBE is viewed. RBE is the number 2 league by a wide margin and the whole culture knows this whether Surf said anything or not. It's not like he said it, and everyone in the culture was like "You know what, I never realized URL was ahead of RBE, but now that you said it..."

To use a Surfism, ARP wants his shyt to remain like Euroleague basketball, he’s trying to guard against the perception that his shyt is the D League (at least the way that the D League was viewed previously).

Enough URL battlers (especially super popular ones like Surf) start thinking shyt is sweet to disparage that brand to that degree and shyt might start chipping away at the brand value. If I was him I’d try to punish Surf online every time he did that shyt too. Not bout to let homie depreciate my shyt one bit.

it’s one thing if a random fan says it. but when a person of notoriety who operates in your same profession says it, you’re bound to address it in some form or fashion…especially if they keep doing it on a repeated basis…

example: there’s no record label or artist whose not gonna respond to another artist publicly saying over and over “so and so’s music is wack”, no matter how successful they are. even it’s ineffective, the fact is your brand is being attacked.Even Jay-Z of all people responds to EVERYTHING…he just does it in a subtle way.

I don't think RBE is viewed as a joke based off what Surf says. Surf has a lot of stans but if RBE puts out a fire card tmw, people will watch it and enjoy the battles the same as they did yesterday. So it's not that I have an issue with the back and forth, it's just that I don't think anything Surf said about RBE really matters.

And it's not like a bunch of URL battlers have the power that Surf has to disparage RBE, because 75% of the URL roster are two bad performances away from needing RBE as a back up.

yeah it’s one thing if the league does a battler dirty but if you haven’t done any business with the league as a battler, you can’t be out here talking crazy.

But see gullible nikkas eat up way too of what he says though especially when he tries shyt on Twitter. ARP had every right to pull his card and set the record straight. Whether he is on an RBE card or not, chill with all that; I get it, it’s entertaining but ARP shut him down. Unless it’s some incomplete business, Surf shouldn’t have even said that, IMO.
