lol yeah nikkas hate Surf. Battle rap is my favorite form of entertainment outside of sports, but I don't take this shyt serious like that. It's fun to debate and discuss battles, who won, who lost, etc... It's entertainment and when it's over, I go on about my life. nikkas be taking this shyt to heart.

battle rap would be boring af if everybody was either likable or not worth rooting against. If Floyd Mayweather was mild mannered and tried to get over on just being an expert technician/defensive whiz he wouldn't have ever headlined any PPV fights and wouldn't be a household name. Not saying every battler should try and be obnoxious like Surf but it's healthier for the product to have different personalities. Chilla Jones and JC can write amazing shyt but they don't carry themselves like stars, both in terms of the battles they choose and in terms of how they act/dress/move. I mean hell Chilla had an incredible run to be COTY but learned nothing about leveling up as a star and now he's nowhere to be found on the most high profile card of the year

He’s still on there. But it’s not like Clips is one of the main stars on that show. I don’t think Clips is really gonna be able to flip that Wild N Out thing into other entertainment avenues in the same way Con and Hitman have so far. Which is kind of a shame since he’s clearly the naturally funniest one of all of these guys. He should really try to go into stand up.

There's no backlash. It was a cool line. But Surf elevates that bar as if it's a Top 5 quotable. It literally takes not much creativity to relate "The Tar Heel State" to your Heels walking through Tar. I could actually see DNA freestyling that line lol
