It's crazy how they have only announced 4 battles for smack vol. 8 and it's already better than the "legendary" drake card that was supposed to be the "best card ever " lol

That Drake card is for Certified Lover Bwatty Boys. This card is way better. Danny vs Fonz would be fire too.

Strangely enough I actually like Jones vs jc.

Jc been sitting for a second thought could get bad for Jones.
True but he's sitting cause his mom died. As someone who's gonna through that, your mind usually isn't usually all the way there.

its wild what the heads at URL will call the "best card ever" due to the names on it
if anything, this is the largest battle rap gamble in one night ever
the flop potential on this one is through the roof

I get that and can't blame him for it. He should get the bag regardless . Its just short term thinking IMO. Specially a hustler like he claims to be should know about supply and demand. Sit down for a few cards, build some anticipation, let the fans miss you and build you up like you're the best to ever do it (fans do that when you had a great battle and then disappear for eg. Daylyte) and then come back vs a Mook and ask for triple the amount as before. Its what I would do, not saying I don't understand him going for the bag right now.
Very important to note that he is likely nothing like the hustler he claims to be lol, he’s just battle rap level believable.

You’re wrong here, because you’re overlooking the fact that simply being on the card is a good look. It’s not like he’s battling on born legacy.

I get where you’re coming from. I’m all about managing your brand. It’s actually a positive to be on this card, even if the opponent may not make sense.

You’re also making an assumption that he can just come back and ask for Mook, a battle that may not even be on Mook’s radar. The possibility of it happening only came up because an opportunity presented itself. They were scrambling for an opponent, and I’m sure Mook wanted his second half. Ultimately, Mook decided to pass because none of it made sense from the lack of preparation to the opponent.

To add on, this is by far the largest card ever on URL just coming from external and old influence. I highly doubt you're ever gonna see a card again with the likes of:
Loaded Lux
Geechi
Surf
Rex
Rum Nitty
Calicoe
Pat Stay

co-signed/handpicked/whatever by Drake

never the less be on that mf. Some cards you can hold off on for the money, but this IS the money from a payout and an exposure standpoint. Think there was a reason DNA was begging to be on this shyt.

Claiming to be a hustler and then turning down this card is hustling backwards in every way imaginable. As far as we know, a Drake-picked/sponsored card may never happen again.

Yeah, people are forgetting the Mook battle came out of nowhere and was just set up to salvage a Mook performance. It's not like Eazy was in line for a Mook battle, or even on the trajectory to get a Mook battle any time within the next 2 years without Brizz backing out.

Strongly disagree, just being on the card regardless of opponent doesn't make sense to ME. Specially on a card like this, with easy's profile at the moment he shouldn't just take a 'dna' to be on the card. Dna will either destroy him and send him a tier back or he will kill Dna and still be where he is.

Mook and lux are extremely picky at who they take. If easy sits out for a while he will be able to ask for who ever he wants on his 'return', if he was on mooks radar before it will always be a possibility he will be again.

Regardless all ya have a valid point as this card is just to big with drake behind it to sit out. I can't blame easy and I would probably do the same if I was in his position lol.
