I saw him in a Honda commercial or something one time too. Guys write jingles, etc. too. If you’re professional and move correctly, you can have a career being relatively low key.Ghostwriting and shows. There's guys way lower than him on the totem pole that I know make money off rap, because there's so many avenues to make money now.
I know he's wrote multiple songs for Diddy and Kanye. I think he bought a house in Atlanta and a Benz off the Diddy shyt.
I really do wonder how nyggas like him survive exclusively off music. This nygga is more like media for battle rappers and the wordsmith in hip hop.
I mean this dude is not even an underground rapper, he’s so far below underground I’m not even sure there is a word for it. He’s like under the underground, because I’ve never heard anyone play his shyt, ever.

FACTS.
Mickey understands business and moves like a professional. (Being underground doesn’t mean you can’t make money)
To those that really study how he moves it ain’t that hard to understand he’s able to make a living off rap.
This is a good idea but like dude said he should definitely slow it down on stageFire. Some reachy moments (as is normal with Daylyt), still amazing tho.
I didn't see the battle but I'm assuming that the "Bill Cartright/ bad for him/form" got the biggest reaction out of all that. I notice simple, easy to follow wordplay tends to get the most reaction in battles...it can't be insultingly, childishly simple but it should be simple enough that it only requires a little bit of brain power to catch. Gotta remember, it's a live audience, having "playback only" lyrics aint really shaking no buildings.
Speaking to that, talking alien language with a fellow alien in front of a crowd of humans who want blood is pretty ill-advised...there should be another setting to present these type of "battles", if you even want to call it battling. How bout do these sort of battles with no crowd...then after you put the battle out, have the two battlers give a breakdown like this of them translating their shyt into Human for the typical battle rap fan...then open up the comments. A lot of fans get mad and annoyed when they don't understand or catch shyt so they'd rather just bash it and say "rappity rap" or "lyrical miracle" is corny...if you put out the breakdown along with the battle, then the fans can act like they caught everything all along in the comments, lol, maybe they'd be more susceptible to it. Do it like the actors/directors giving movie commentary on a DVD or sumn, shyt might be dope.

That was years ago, he even titled his album like $4 or something because at the time that's all he had in his account.Well actually it is hard to understand how he can make a living off of rap based on his own interview.
The is the same Mickey that was either psa or angryfan and flat out said he had $0 in his bank account and hit rock bottom financially.
He appeared to climb out of that, but there is no way in hell that it’s easy for someone like Mickey to make a living off of rap.
