Most of these dudes pull inspiration from battle rap.

First track on RJ Payne's new album he's rapping like Arsonal. You can also hear him using Lux flow from Funk Flex from time to time. This Payne is hard don't get me wrong but I hear homie Shang Tsung-ing nyggas.

Every time I listen to RJ Payne (my top 3 right now) and realize he's Reignman is always bugs me out. Reignman was always nice as a battler but he wasn't this nice. Prior to his current run, him ducking Jimz on RBE is my lasting memory of him as a battler
