Another weird RBE card to me. I never really care for their matchmaking, but it’s just enough to get me to watch.
I don’t think X factor should be on any card in 2021, but this is a good look for him.
I feel RBE has matchmaking issues because they're not a real league. They don't even have a real roster to pick from. It's really hard to put together cards when your booking is co-dependent on which non-rostered URL battler isn't on an upcoming URL card. They only have a handful to choose from usually between O-Red, Ill Will, Swave, Serius Jones, Iron Solomon and Math. Mook, Hitman, Verb (at times), Calicoe are their "Big card" guys who aren't signed to anyone, but they battle so infrequently, and there's only so many people they can battle really. Everyone else is pretty much signed to URL or doesn't have enough name value to matter. RBE is kind of a clunky/awkward battle rap platform when you really think about it. They might have the second biggest profile currently in battle rap and they don't even have a real roster. And the few guys you can label as "RBE" guys, outside of Showoff (maybe), everyone would leave RBE in a heartbeat to be on a URL card. We just saw it with Jimz and Ooops. Even KOTD has a real roster and they haven't mattered for years.
yeah but even when they had access to more talent (the pre contract years), I was never particularly high on their matchmaking. However, I do like that at least it is different
I always said ARP books battles that he wants to see. It’s his platform so I’m not mad at it.

The URL would've just found another celebrity, they have in the past. (KD, Remy Ma, Puff, Busta, Jadakiss). URL got the juice now, so it's not surprising Drake went with URL over KOTD, a league that reps his home country.
