Sonically speaking yes he is. There's nikkas out now that rap like this and rap over those type of beats been like that for more than a decade now. Cash Kidd most notably. Especially his vocal inflection.

Hell it's nikkas in KCMO and KCK that rap like him.

I got every Esham album up to a certain point, a huge fan but no...... maybe some of the earlier beats on the first album are similar but he ha a wide variety of beats a lot which were more rock influence. None of these new era Detroit rappers mimic that. The people he influenced are Eminem, ICP, horrorrcore but no one raps like that, he actually sounds a lot more like an east coast rapper than anything. I don’t see the connection.

I hear people say the same about blade icewood who I knew personally and honestly I don’t see that either.

I think you’re right about KC, there’s absolutely no Tech N9ne without NATAS but then again Tech N9ne is pretty wack

Esham himself stopped rapping like that when he went to Overcore so once again, I disagree :yeshrug:

You really do Stan Math. You cape hard for him whenever anyone says something unfavorable about him.

Math is definitely a hater. He’s not the objective guy you’re painting him to be.

I won't say is a completely hater like that; here and there, he can be. But I will say he can be pretty short sighted on certain things that can be his fault at times. He might be trying to hold himself accountabile for more of his actions as of late...I dunno. And he is one of the top, imo, to ever do it. However, he needs to accept what his misdoings were and how that has impacted his career.

Why does everyone that isn't a go along to get along nikka, or sucking the same kneecaps everyone else is have to be a "hater"? I've heard people call Ike and Swave haters for Restore Order because they don’t accept fukkery and want BR to be about the rapping. shyt is kinda gay (not you) to me, for lack of a better term. Serious question.

Actually, this can be for rap in general. If you don't like some shyt, or think something is wack, they just hide behind calling you a hater. Is this what we really want the culture to be?

To come in this thread after weeks and still see nikkas hating on Math is crazy to me.

That's fair, unlike 98% of people. URL and certain people have the culture brainwashed. Too much dikk riding going on.

Digging these Upstairs Boys (Marv, Quest, Big Kannon, Saga) podcasts. These interviews are pretty good. They got Debo on right now speaking on Cassidy's interview about battle rappers not needing the leagues.
