How can people say that Rex won 2-1 in their first battle against Math is beyond me.

Rex got the first, the second was cringeworthy by both, and the third, clearly no debatin' Math. At best we can say it was a tie, but Rex did not win that.

I think Math is a legend, but he has turned many people against him over the years. His antics have not helped his case to be liked, from punching Jones to beefing with almost everyone in the battle industry - Clips, Goodz, Hollow, Bigg K etc...

But when I see dikkheads like Surf or Goodz acting like he they are beyond him is laughable to me. At least Geechi has the balls to battle him and prove his worth - that is what makes legends, not the fukkin' views and popularity. If you think Math is garbage, step in the ring and prove it.

I think it has a whole hell of a lot more to do with the fact that people generally don't care about Math Hoffa the battle rapper.

I personally think that's a narrative egged on because he's gone against the grain, URL treated him like a legend until he was heavy RBE talking about battlers getting royalties and paid better. Despite the fukkery and bad battles, Math has remained a draw. If this battle goes well and URL gets behind him again, watch the narrative magically go away. They (Beasley, really) have mastered the art of taking battlers and artificially putting them where they want, good or bad. A lot of the sucka ass battlers, unfortunately, go right along with that.

Rex is like the only one from the DVD era who was constantly active as a main eventer caliber rapper during URL's early years. Everybody else was either not active or got bodybagged early on.

How is that not "maintaining your status through different eras"?
