Actually, that isn't true. If two battlers do bad, I still pick the one who did better. O-Red is actually one of my favorite battlers, he clearly lost to Jag. And I'm not a Jag fan at all really. And that's a battle that technically could be debated. But I went with who I honestly felt did better.

Cassidy has a lot of fans, of course there are ones who are gonna say he won. Literally every battle that happens there are fans that go against the consensus, it's even more when you add in someone of Cassidy's stature. You only really engage on here when Cassidy battles, you're a fan and that's cool. But if you really followed the culture, you would know a lot of people saying someone won, that clearly lost, isn't all that foreign to battle rap. It happens damn near every battle.

Battlers hating on legends, doesn't really fit in with this, imo.

I come around when mook battles too lol

oh and there’s nothing generous about giving cass the first round against goodz and hitman

This nikka k shine was giving an interview outside the venue giving hitman the battle 3-0 while the battle was still going on

Rosenberg gave an interview recently saying we can’t set the bar higher for Cassidy than we do all the other battle rappers regardless of how much shyt cass pop

I think people are looking for a Clips/Rex type of body bag, but no one is going to prepare for him like that.

because when it comes time to do so they don’t get the job done

to their credit I don’t hear them saying that as much anymore but still

I much rather hear an active battler rapper and a industry rapper in a small room going bar for bar cuz I really don’t think a lot of these battle rappers is that nice and would get smoked

yeah they good at this spectacle aspect of today’s battle rap but a lot of these nikkas ain’t great lyricists to me

just doesn’t make business sense to recruit an industry rapper with a large profile to a small room battle because you’re leaving a lot of money (ticket sales) on the table and that’s a shame

That's what I'm saying, this new class of battle rappers are different, they do everything from angling to punching. As legendary as Hitman is and I think he did win, when is the last time we saw him body anyone?
