I hear you...I'm not saying Rex should imitate Nitewing or sumn...but try to incorporate a little bit of today's style. That "simple" early 2000s mixtapes style works for those who know how to work it and still sound current...like an Eazy. But for the Cassidy's and Rex's and them that jawn obviously ain't working, it sounds weak. 15 years ago it would sound fire.

This is where I am with it. Rex has never really liked the 3 minute 3 round format. If he can't bring himself to prepare 10 minutes of fresh material then there isn't anything for me to get extra hype over.
Shine's work ethic is wayyyyy better, so for him to say he is going to bring Rex back means he thinks he can bring a prepared Rex back. I'll believe it when I see it, Rex just seems to prideful to listen to anyone. On the flipside I remember seeing Shine delivering food back when URL only had 4-5 events a year. Shine put his pride to the side and did what he had to do to change his life for the better. I don't think a lot of these guys could humble themselves like that. Even when Shine partnered with DNA he had to accept people questioning his choice, I'm sure folks told him it was a bad look. But look at where he is now because he decided to step outside the box and partner up with someone who works as hard as he does.
