We not about to TWIST Chilla’s words.
He was talkin about the Math, Prep, Con battles which were all AFTER the DNA battle (July 13th 2013)
I said, you can have a STYLE and adjust it along the way.
The journalist said “around that time, nikkas started sayin you’re boring” (July 13th 2013)
Chilla adjusting his style after the DNA battle doesn’t mean there was anything wrong with his style completely, perfecting ya resume means you see something you adjust for a purpose.
Something EVERY artist should do, so to use him adjusting his style as a crutch doesn’t mean anything to me since it doesn’t hold weight bein that he’s an artist and STILL does what he does, just differently.
Again, Shine adjusted his style too (rapping slower)
A battler might adjust it for the opponent, environment and/or kind of fans/platform they’re on. He was speaking about the big stage because that was the new trajectory of his career at the time.
The big stage and small room are NOT the same. The big stage doesn’t mean more from an artform perspective. They’re two different platforms under one umbrella which is Battlerap.
Surf said “Urn N Ash, that’s Nash” and nikkas went crazy because they were entertained.
So who is entertained doesn’t mean anything to me if it isn’t VALID - There are bunch of fans in battlerap that’ll yell at anything. Which is the point that was made here.
Let’s address these dates and see if Chilla was boring across the board, or if that was a FALSE narrative shall we

Him adjusting his style from a small room to big stage doesn’t mean he’s boring, it just means he understood the environment and crowd he stepped in and would deal with on a bigger stage and adjusted accordingly. This is what an artist SHOULD do, to use that as a knock on someone’s style is silly.
In conclusion, Chilla wasn’t boring across the board. That narrative was presented and was simply NOT true.

i watched that chilla danny battle last night, had chilla winning still. His rounds are covered with double/triple entendres still to this day. @ReasonableMatic knows whats up
