So now Roc is average? Yall nikkas a trip
What im reading is people sayin roc isnt as good of a pure rapper which is true, he's all punchlines

You never gonna look at roc and get the same feel as when lux/verb/surf/big t/ bdot/jc etc. etc. get to really rappin and lay off the punchlines for a bit, we've never seen it

Nitty is one of the few dudes who can just punch but still be crazy just from a rap standpoint, I'd say twork too but to a lesser extent

Issa fact. Kinda pointless tho as nobody is checking for roc for that kind of rapping

Exactly, why bring it up if he’s not a “rapper”.

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Roc said in the Big T battle

"Bow Bow, give you two rounds that's a Bicycle, bow, give him another round, that's a Tricycle"

And y'all mad I'm saying in 2020 Roc is average? Not his career, I'm saying right now. If you still think he's fire, God Bless. But I have ears.

He lost to Glueazy and Mike P in the last 5 months. "Glue stuck up like a fly trap". Okay.

Yea

People been in denial but roc aint been the same since other real top tiers put pressure on him

Surf/Cal/Goodz/Hollow/Pat leveled that nikkas momentum out real quick imo

I may be forgetting something but i wanna say the last battle he violated someone was Bad Newzz...a dude that aint even mid tier

nikkas really in denial

Roc was never an A-level bar spitter.
His underdog story, humble attitude and loud projection linked to his likability is what got him where he was at with the fans. He was the blue-collar worker everyone LIKED

His battle vs B Magic is an example of B Magic spitting A level bars vs Roc spittin B-level, BUT with amazing projection making it close

He was stellar, but he lost to someone that was liked as well, with better rhymes and a cadence that canceled his projection out to get him over the hump.

He was an amazing BATTLER and his persona off camera kept him up there.

Around the time he got under Surf is when it went downhill.
• It started slowly because nikkas started to see he was not a BOSS in comparison to Surf.
• He then faced Calicoe and it showed the cracks in his character when Calicoe punked him, tho he still was convincing enough to pull his 2nd over to not get fully exposed.

• He faced Goodz and he again showed Roc it’s a difference in believability and

• He then faced Pat Stay and got PUNKED forreal tryna step outside of his Battlerap persona ON STAGE and Pat pulled his hoe-card right then and there.

Throughout all of this happening his character flaws kept getting exposed IN and OUTSIDE of Battlerap. The more that happened the more his bars stopped hitting the same, because likability is what got him his stardom.

Roc boxed HIMSELF in tryna be sumn he’s NOT, that’s the truth.

Some nikkas just in denial to those facts, cause they still like him

On paper, Roc doesn't always have the craziest lines. Its a combo of how he spits it, the delivery, and when he lands his bars right. I get what you mean but I definitely disagree with you just saying he's average. The average battle rapper....may compromise their style to imitate with what everyone is imitating. I feel like Roc knows exactly what he wants to say and how he wants to say it. And no one sounds like him and he doesn't sound like anyone else. I think he stands out. If his style or even content allow it, I think he wouldn't be bad at rebuttals and it would be great to add to his skillset...and I know he has probably done a few before but can't remember.

As for Norbes going to KOTD or RBE, hell no.
He done talked crazy about other leagues; especially them two.
Now that URL is a wrap for him, I don't even think that's even a conversation.
If they work shyt out, maybe....but I highly doubt it.
He's better off just doing his own thing probably but even that could get him jammed up.
Who knows....

B Dot's second round is everything that needed to be said to Rum Nitty. It's how I felt about him after the Chilla battle. Nitty's the best puncher in the world, but real talk just hits different. That's why he's mid tier plus instead of top tier to me. Even though he's a legend, if that makes sense. Sometimes the gun line after gun line can get old, even from the best of them.

I remember when the Roc vs Clips pt 2 came out people were quoting the lines and posting them live and a lot of people weren't impressed. Then they watched it and now it's a classic. Roc is more than what's on paper, but he's exposed his personal life too much so they're turning on him. He still has bars, i.e. the Gotti battle, but that first round from Gotti is the issue. He's exposed himself to be kinda lame, which goes against his whole rap persona.

He honestly should become more selective with his battles now and write for people he's inspired against.

EDIT: Also he needs to stop smoking so much, his projection is suffering for it.
