Surf and Shine talkin down on Lux

Seen most of it live n in that clip looks like he talkin down on him but for the most part he wasn’t. N to keep it a buck as much of a Lux fan I am.. Surf is right in the aspect of when has Lux done a crazy battle from front to back. To me the Hollow vs Lux battle was great.. But that third from Lux vs Verb was str8 trash. First from Lux vs Clips was trash until the near end part. Mook vs Lux part 2 trash. Vs arsonal was iight.. Lux definitely has alot of dry spots but he still a legend..

N to keep it a buck.. if that Lux vs Surf battle is soon. I might got surf winnin it cuz Lux way to focused on that Hot 97 bs

I’m not understanding this new narrative that Lux’s battle performances in the modern era have been substandard

He left Earth against Calicoe...classic
He was fire against Hollow...classic
He was great against Clips...classic
He spazzed against Guns & Cakes...great battle
The battle against Arsonal was decent (Arsonal wasn’t an interesting opponent for him IMO).

Only 2 battles I would say were “weak” were against Verb & Mook (I can’t remember a great moment of stretch from him in either battle). I think these “Brotherhood” era battlers and their fans feel the need to talk down just to even the odds. It’s like Lebron fans tryna put him and MJ on equal footing. Surf CANNOT do anything with Lux. Absolutely nothing.

Resident Surf hater here, that Quarantine Tales probably my favorite track from a battler ever

Song is very dope but I'm starting to hate how he uses the same flows down to the syllables. He tricked me because uses a different flow for the first four bars.
But from :28 on you can take those rhymes & that flow and put them on any other Surf song.

Whatever though, that flow is better than 95% of his peers.

If I am a betting man, I'm going with Lux; no question on that. The only reason why I even gave Surf a fighting chance is because he MIGHT actually take it serious (that's a big might). And all the dumb ass excuses he has had for fukking up battles from the past won't save him. This time he has to know whatever stardom won't save him. If anything, Lux has that to a degree...maybe in a different light but you get what you mean.

You're talking on cam. Lux is both my favorite rapper (not battler, rapper) and the GOAT battler but he choked against Cal and Gunz Cake, got booed against Mook and Verb, had a complete throwaway round against Ars, the fans chanted 3-0 for both Verb and Clips, and he's only had probably six or so battles in the new era. Even though I dont agree with a lot of the shyt, but the narrative for people AGAINST Lux is legitimate. People who dont fukk with Lux are only talking about him in the building.
