To me, yes. URL battles are literally split into 3 screens (The two battlers and Smack), nikkas battling in their rooms/house or whatever, and Smack is just saying "Aight it's on JC" and then the guy stops rapping, then the other dude raps. Then Smack does a recap/short interview after with both parties.

I like the way RBE has different settings and be more creative as oppose to just rapping to the camera. But not everyone likes the extras in the RBE joint, so it's preference.

True. And that Cortez move shows URL feel do a way about RBE getting over on them in this sense. As much as the fans fukk with who does the camera work whenever Avo, Twizz, or John Doe get brought up...I would like URL would consider this lane for the battle rappers. If anything, this allowed RBE to position themselves in another light to compete with URL. Especially since they can't do big ass events right now.

You know, even tho Ice is still one of my current favorites...I used to be like "damn" will he ever stop making a lot of classic hip hop references to albums? But you know what...I'm glad he does it. Because nikkas who don't know and young nikkas can maybe connect the dots on some joints they may have missed or didn't know about. I don't think alot of folks can pull it off like Ice because he does it damn near every battle.

King Los and Flip having a battle rap talk on Youtube live. Lupe told him he should battle DNA when they was on the set of Rhythm and Flow. Los said he's not motivated because he doesn't think DNA is like that. He said people trying to set him and Lux up but he doesn't want to battle Lux, B Dot, Verb or Daylyt because they all represent the same thing (positivity).
