Ok, watched Tay Roc vs. Glueazy. Roc definitely wanted to reclaim his spot with all the bullshyt going on. But man, Glu...wasn't playing with him. I may have to edge to Glu 2-1. I gave Tay the 1st and Glu the 2nd and I think I have him edging round 3. Dope battle tho.
They ain't even give Profit courtesy silence and he from there lol.

First of all, my bad for snapping on you. I had a couple of drinks and just fired off.
You just proved my point as to why we need rankings.
Let’s take college basketball this year. UNC, a national brand, is 10-15. If the committee is determining who gets into the NCAA tournament, is UNC a quality win? The answer here is no. It’s not “hey they beat a blue blood” that’s all that matters. It’s more so that they aren’t performing well enough to deserve to be considered a quality win.
Based on your perspective, if I’m a battle rapper, I can beat Bmagic, Rich Dollaz, Yung Ill , and X-factor, and have a strong argument for COTY, despite the fact that these guys haven’t been performing up to par.
Beating Chess in 2020 is a great win. 2017? Not so much.
Do I give Math credit for beating Bmagic? Sure. If we were determining COTY, would I consider it a strong win? Absolutely not.
Im really surprised I had to type all of this out. Bmagic has diminished his name, it’s like who cares? He doesn’t take his craft seriously and I don’t take him seriously.
We more or less agree here. You came off like it meant nothing, my point was that it means something, though admittedly not much.

Yeah, either these names are not good at their peak or past their prime. It means more when the win is against them when they are really on their shyt. I get what you what mean.
But you know what they say....a win is a win still.
I do think its good that Math is more consistent now. And he is in a good space as far as battle rap goes overall.
Not only has he stepped it up in his battles, he pretty much remade some of his imaging in battle rap and got some eyes on it that we may not see.
As long as he keeps this up and he doesn't slip back into old habits.

If Diz didnt punch him i highly doubt any of this happens, he was forced to humble himself (at least publicly) and got way more logical after the initial sting wore off. Changed his whole trajectory in life it seems.
