Word. But you see the music industry is full of cornballs, every media outlet running to battle rap at the exact same time because it's been deemed acceptable to talk about.

Verb has been talking about this, people in the industry not showing any real support. Now everyone is coming around. This isn't a slight to Joe Budden podcast but it just shows there are a lot of people in the entertainment industry that don't deserve jobs. They just wait for something to get hot, then jump on it.

Mal suggested that Verb battle Hitman.

I like how Verb just flat out explained why JC doesn’t land these battles. Promoters offer a lower purse for JC.

If JC moved like TODD, a guy that always had a good blend of activity and taking the right opponents, I don’t think it would be an issue.

Theres always opponents. ROC probably just wants the money. I mean this mufukka battled Glueasy. It looks like he wants to be on some “get money” shyt in 2020 and stay active. In order to do that, you have to step down. This is the type of shyt DNA, Shine, JC, etc do all the time. He’s probably just like f’ it let me get this money.

You got realistic battles out there like Verb, Math, Ill, NJT, and T-top. There’s respectable opponents like Danny Myers. You got someone new that always emerges out of nowhere.

Yeah Roc battling Swamp is not that big a deal. Top battlers been taking battles vs up and comers on smaller leagues since the beginning of this. It’s not an indication of Roc running out of names or on his way out.
