I’ve got Verb as a top 5 writer in battle rap. People don’t typically think he’s in that Lux/QP/Daylyt class but his pen is elite. The issue is that if he’s facing someone with a lot of punchlines, most fans are gonna say he lost because “he wasn’t saying anything” even though he’s rapping his ass off.

Yea i 100% agree and thats why i'm not mad at people saying DNA beat him. In battle rap the least lyrical person can still win by being more direct.

But i'll always tune in for a verb battle just off his writing alone.

That's one of my favorite lines ever.

I know people might not want the battle on here. But i'm all for Verb vs Calicoe. They both have that same "vivid" writing Verb is just more lyrical and Cal is more direct

I enjoyed it as well. Leaning towards TeeWhy 2-1 but the props thing was a bit much for me. I thought J Krooger was good but just needed maybe a little more to some of his punches. They both gave solid performances and really some damn good bars.

Battle rap fans really be crumbling the moment they get ridiculed by either a battle rapper themselves or someone really in the culture. I peeped this more then a few times on twitter.
