Alright so I got the app. I know I'm super late and some of the things I mentioned were prob said in the thread before but here goes:
- I like the app itself for the most part, the layout looks good. I like the dark color scheme (I usually have the dark color scheme for most of the aps I use) and it does feel responsive. It is missing some features though, like managing your user profile information (can't change email info for example)
- Although I wish there were a few more options for the video filters, the options that are there are decent.
- The signup process...is pretty janky to be honest, and at times confusing
For example when I created the account on url's website I wasn't even redirected to a home page, I didn't even get a response telling me that I had successfully created an account. The layout of all the pages on the site is pretty bad too, and even janky in some places (For a sec I thought I was on a scammer's page). The navigation through the different pages on the site is pretty confusing as well and not very intuitive either. I have a feeling Beasly did this part himself
- The fact that there are so few user options like being able to change/add on/view your payment methods, manager your user account is also surprising to say the least, like when you're dealing with e-commerce, making sure that your user feels safe using your portal and having the ability to control what information they put out there at will is important.
Overall, it seems like URL rushed to get the app itself out there and as a result neglected to fix up all of the other features that app of that kind would need, even the basic stuff (the signup process/app website itself). URL really has a lot of work to do to bring the URL app up to standard
