Battle Truth doesn't consider himself to be a hip-hop head. I consider myself to be a hip-hop head. If you had a video out in 1994 I knew who you were. I had all the issues of the Source, etc etc. One of those types.
How many episodes have we heard Battle Truth sing? He is more of an R&B guy. He comes across like one of those S curl open chest vest nyggas. He seems more likely to have alligator shoes than tims.

He sounds like a knock off member of Do Or Die. Battle Truth’s approach to rap and music is all Midwest, which has a mixture of singing and rapping.

An observation that I’ve noticed and does annoy me about NY guys is that you’re not considered a hip hop if you don’t know of certain NY guys. I’m not saying you specifically.

What's Danny's most memorable moments?

Maybe not all of these but here's the ones I recall that stood out.

That bar he had for Rex's nephew after he passed was crazy.

How he never backed off K-Shine in their Volume battle got him some attention.

Beating Geechi Gotti on AHAT when he was really on the come up even though not too many people know about that battle. One of his better moments I think.

Classics with B-Dot, Diz, Rum, and Danja.

Telling Swave he was King Of New York in that Writer's Block vs. Team Homi battle.

He bodied this one female battle rapper in a one rounder that was crazy. Forgot her name but that was a body.

That's it. Myers isn't' a "moment" type of dude. But at the same time i respect that. He made it to where he is now off hard work and bars. I respect that even though im not personally a myers fan.

Nah. It's not NYC there was a shooting at a Philly battle rap event a few months ago.
We had weeks of laughs about the fight, but if one of those fools had a gun it would have been all bad. Chess probably would have started shooting at the sky after the tear gas hit him. Imagine if he shot that dude accidentally instead of pushing him off stage accidentally.

Myers is one of my top current but I did think like man...he needed a battle like that to show more of these fans who try to clown what kind of monster he is, IMO. I knew he would do good but I was like...aight, he can't approach how he did with the West Coast Dred battle. He was good but he has to be really focused against Shine and not get thrown off.
