Yeah man. Proving that you extra tough dont mean you rap nice. We cant cry about shyt being a business but yet we want this ole bullshyt involved all the time. Pretty soon, we will just have muthafukkas wanna battle so they can start fights and thats it. Smdh.

My biggest pet peeve in battle rap right now is crowds screaming or shouting "3-0!!... 3-0!!!.. " shut the fukk up please:martin:


Why not just enjoy the battle, go absolutely crazy and actually create an amazing atmosphere instead of being some impromptu self appointed "judges" of Battles Rap. Why are you trying to influence public opinion instead of letting people see/hear it for themselves. A fire performance rises to the top regardless.


It's extremely irretatating and here's why :

9 TIMES OUT OF 10 THE BATTLE (where the dumb crowd is chanting 3-0!) IS ACTUALLY A CLASSIC AND VERY DEBATEABLE... :beli:

Just coz your dumb ass doesn't get the cultural and historic references and only react to something popular/current events on TV does not immediately mean the other guy is getting 30'd.

My favorite crowd in URL outside of NY has been Florida, that crowd has crazy energy and no bias. Other crowds (Houston had great energy, but boy were they slow to catch nuanced bars :pachaha:)

I really reallly hate it. New fans please stop this corny shyt at events. :francis:

I think stumbles and chokes have to be taken in context when nikkas on stage are doing too much to throw another battle rapper off. Not just for Danny sake but everyone because that shyt can potentially take away from a battle.

I agree, but whatever the ratio is, the crowds seem to be desperate to be apart of "history", it's like they're forcing the classic or the body instead of letting things happen organically. This also extends to over reacting to a bar that's maybe a strong 7 they'll be screaming like it's a 10.

Casual boxing fans do this ALL the time, trying to crate another Ali vs Foreman or "Down goes Frazier" type moment and completely hyping people up beyond what the reality is.

It also happens in European Football where they wanna experience the Italian leagues of the 80s and great players like Diego Maradona who are once in a lifetime talents, so they revise history and pretend like these people never existed, every time Messi or Ronaldo score a decent goal it's immediately "GOAT" talk, and the kids eat bs up.

Every event there's immediate rumors of a body bag, a classic, a crazy performance and upon multiple rewatches its all hype. Todd Todd vs Jakkboy type situations don't happen all the time and when they do its really special and crazy. But new fans be acting like they're at Summer Madness 2 all day everyday. :francis:
