My expert opinion with Cassidy and Geechi Gotti

This was a really good episode. I think Cass is still out of touch lyrically but he’s spot on about work ethic and battle rappers wasting time/energy on all the extra shyt that doesn’t push the culture forward. If all the top tier guys locked into preparing and had their rounds done weeks in advance of every battle, there would be a lot more quality battles.

We gotta give Prez his due for fathering Twork
I get that Prez influenced Twork but Twork took it somewhere else. Like how Kane and Jaz O influenced Jay but Jay took their style revamped it and advanced it. So them 2000 rappers sounded like Jay clones not like Kane/Jaz clones even though Jay got his style from Kane and Jaz. Same with Twork and Prez.

They don’t even try to hide it.

Twork really the most influential battler of the last 5 years

clearly, no debatin. If they aint outright biting twork, twork's opponents are mimicking him in battles against him (the bounce, strapped in). That's like straight up "harlem hospitals giving beds out"/copying sm2 Lux's flow levels of influence.
