Not gonna lie. I’m pissed about this situation. I was really looking forward to seeing the matchup of Lux/Hollow vs Surf/Roc.

When I was watching promo videos for the battle a few weeks back, I was hoping Surf would stay out of trouble but...

From a business perspective I get why they replaced Surf but as a Fan I really wish they just scrapped the battle for a later date.

I'm with it. Surf is better than Chess overall, but Chess is just as exciting as he is. The potential of the Roc/Chess pairing is really high.

I also hate the way that Tay Roc is comfortable piggy backing Surf, this will put some extra respect on Roc's name.

Lux & Hollow are at more of a disadvantage now. What do they do with the Surf material?

I still think Roc/Chess can EASILY bet Lux/Hollow. The problem is Chess is stepping into this with what 9 days prep? Yea a choke is coming.

But if they pull this off the shyt talking from chess is gonna be even crazier then the shyt talking from Surf lol.

And for the people saying they should just scrap this battle. Naw. This isn't a normal battle. Lets assume Lux is still charging 30-40k. So is hollow. And so is Surf. A MINIMUM of 60k was already sent out for deposits that SMACK is just out of. Of course i doubt they are just charging their normal figure for a 2v2 but its not like they just gonna charge 10k either lol.


Aint no way he gonna just cancel the battle. SMACK gotta get his.

With that said i expect Surf to take 2/3 of these battles within 3 months of coming home to get his money back (Cortez/Math/JJDD) over at RBE.
