I'm trying... was trying to get a friend of mine into battlerap, and its crazy how far you have to go back in order to understand todays battles. The number of classic bars/occurrences that are referenced in a battles today is crazy. 
If you're part of the culture you really don't notice, but battle rap is extremely hard to jump into and follow.
Long story short, I gave up
We need to schedule a TBZ meetup at one of the marquee events this year or next.

I aint mad at this matchup, but JC is taking a lot of battles right now and Cortez isn't light...

Battle rap is still niche after all. the majority of angles used in battle rap are only stuff that hardcore fans would know (Like the mook/math situation or cholly clips pops). At least you tried

I think Cortez is the worse when it comes to making career moves in battle rap
Allegedly he has a great street reputation that's why people fukked with him but I noticed the moment he decided to leave his street persona outside of battle rap he lost all the lil respect he had
If he really ducked surf that was a bad decision but to be honest he would prolly get smoked in a mediocre battle
