It’s a smart move for K Shine to call out Hollow for a battle. Out of the perceived “God Tier” battlers, Hollow is the only one not from Harlem. I don’t think he’s close to Lux like that but for some reason I always felt the vibe he wouldn’t battle him and I don’t think he wants to battle Mook. And he needs a God Tier battler to get him the legacy he needs.
Shine still wants to battle Clips, right?

It’s true but seeing his battle against Calicoe and hollow, he still can give it up for the audience. Even against Charlie clips he did his thing. Don’t know wtf he thinking now with what he did against ars and verb. Hopefully hollow helps him rethink his approach to the crowd and gets a pointer or two working with hollow... lux after this double impact shyt and learning the crowd approach and angles might just give him what he need to be the goat. Maybe it’s too late by then cuz who the fukk else would he battle? Iron? Who gives a fukk. Jc? Who gives a fukk. And put those battles in a small room but anyone left for a big url stage? Nope. I don’t even give a fukk against a hitman. Maybe a nitty down the line but I kinda look at nitty like jc. Put them against a big dog and they will fold.

Lux vs Iron would be a fire battle. So would Lux vs JC :dahell:

I don't know if Hollow really knows how to move big crowds either to be honest. His last performance on a big stage was kinda ass and even tho I think his battle with Roc was dope, he had a lot of dry spots.

And Lux vs Nitty or Jc or Iron in a small setting would be so dope.

a small setting against jc and iron would be dope. I rather see nitty against lux on a big stage. I think lux and nitty when they in there bag can create a classic atmosphere. The point I was trying to make is lux can do his thing against the crowd. Just gotta adjust to the bad performances. Same with hollow. What hollow did against lux and clips was retarded. What hollow did against surf was retarded no matter who you pick as winners. Look how he had the crowd against pat. He had the crowd with jjdd. But like lux, what he did against Ars and I don’t count the math battle. I don’t think he tried at all.

Lux sounds like he is definitely battling somebody else this year after the Summer Impact battle and I CAN'T WAIT. Loss or no loss vs Verb.

I was thinking about this earlier. The guys viewed as elite don't really move big crowds (Mook, Lux, Hollow, Verb) like that imo.

Lux's only problem is that he simply doesn't battle enough. He's at a disadvantage every time he steps on that stage. Even then, he's extremely hard to beat just because of his pen game and ability to perform. If he continues battling every other year (next battle probably 2021) he'll probably just either have another debatable or flat out lose.

At a certain point in time, battling seldomly made sense for him. However, I believe times have changed. He needs to take these experiences (Verb/Guntitles) and build off of them. URL is a machine right now, and could bring him back, so I'm sure it would make sense business wise too.

His aura of invincibility has faded during a time where the URL can probably afford him consistently.

True. The high paid vets can get away with bringing one great round, because we see them at least 3-4 times a year. Lux isn't doing anything we need to wait around for, he needs to be more active for me to care about his battles.

Lux has lost every single battle in the building after SM2, and that was 7 years ago. I'm with Math on this one.

Lux vs. Iron in a Vol would be crazy imo
