If Surf can’t battle, who would yall put together as a replacement battle? Keep in mind we have to think of guys that are known to do well with a short amount of prep time.
Obviously the URL has their pick of guys that have this capability.

Agreed but the rule in business always is if you have to replace someone you need to make it as good or better than the original person.

I'd prefer a whole new matchup than putting Geechi up there against Twork even tho he was prepared to battle Surf after battling Head Ice two weeks before.
Cal vs Twork? Only saying this cuz of the vid and it just sounds like a random one-off battle they'd both be willing to do right away imo.

I don't think it's fair to Geechi to lose a NOME look because his opponent was irresponsible. I'm not mad at Geechi vs. O-Red but that's a big drop off in terms of name value (not skill). I really need Smack to drop battles more regularly. I think it really hurts people's abilities to build buzz for possible matchups for future events when folks have no clue how they actually did. Gets battlers to talk more spicy and build anticipation for events that aren't NOME/SM.
