I feel you. He definitely wasn't a top dog but he was in that Freeway, Joe Budden level maybe slightly above (In terms of hits). Just a tad below Fabolous.

I think the bigger issues were Queenzflip and not enough uninterrupted footage of the back and forth between Goodz and Cass. The battle rappers' thoughts thing was cool even if people feel like it was presented as Cass vs the battle rap world/culture. I don't mind that stance for promo purposes lol.

Yeah Flip treated it way too much like his shows on his channel. He should have either not done it or just understood he is a mediator.

All that shyt is cool and all but times have changed and...when Cass said he was above certain nikkas...who are now in battle rap as top guys, I couldn't take that nikka seriously. The whole thing with him writing records that got him some accolades, I can applaud that. Past dope ass freestyles, I can applaud that. But battling in this format completely, I am questioning shyt because, I still can only go by what he last showed me with the Diz battle. Not the Freeway battle or whatever else. Plus, he tried to deflect in the face-off from the battle to what songs he did with whom and what shows he did. That's cool and all but that had shyt to do with the battle or his battles. So I dunno, Cass gotta show me more in that ring because it all sounds good but that last battle was ass and he fukked up the first time around.

People saying cass was ass in the diz battle is revisionist history if I ever saw it cuz immediately after that battle I saw him getting nothing but props from everyone even from the few delusional people that still gave the battle to diz

All I kept hearing prior to that battle is diz is too experienced diz has too much freestyle ability diz is gonna rebuttal cass head off and all cass did was go in there after what 12 years of being away from battling and straight shyt on diz

I don’t understand how people can fix their mouth to say cass was ass in that battle

If y’all won’t give him props for what he did to diz all things considered then y’all never going to give him his props

People already been throwing disclaimers out there with this goodz battle

Second time, he was better but the lines were not all that. He really beat Diz because Diz (1) was uncomfortable and (2) Diz beat himself on his on own turf. That's on him. I respect Cass for his skill level of what he has done before but c'mon man...he comes back to battle Diz with those bars when we have had battles where the game has been elevated with not only punchlines but performance and delivery as well? I'm not saying that Cass can't do it but you mean to tell me...based on that Diz battle...he is gonna win the battle with Goodz because he has some hit records and is on his promo shyt? Nope.
