We've seen this story over and over again though, reciting on the phone, shyt be dope, fire, crazy, etc. .....

Goodz 30 and y'all know I've never cared for Goodz, but I can admit he has everything else needed to easily win outside of "bars". He's a seasoned and conditioned Vet nonetheless. Cass is not, not even close....he still has to showcase that his performance matches all the studying he's done.

I think what’s enjoyable about Cass’ promo is that you’ve never seen anyone shyt on Goodz the way Cass is, and there’s just nothing Goodz can do about it.

It’s funny you mention conceited, cause that’s who Cassidy reminds me of heading into this battle. Specifically conceited vs. surf.
Two very similar styles (though that’s not why he reminds of conceited), but when you watch conceited, it would take him 3 bars to get to the punch, while surf was stacking smaller punches while building to each big shot. I went back and watched that battle recently... Conceited could do it too, he just couldn’t keep up. And Surf’s big shots were like an updated/upgraded version of conceited’s. They both even had a similar line that surf got off way smoother.
Went back and watched the stage version of the cass/diz battle. Same thing. Cass had a couple flips that made me think he could keep up with today’s battlers. But it takes him 8-12 bars to get there and in between he was kicking some bullllllllllllllllllllllllllshyt.
Only thing he got going for him imo is Goodz can’t bar him to death. So if he brings his A+ game he can make it a debatable regardless of how much Goodz styles on him.
though if Goodz got an angle we don’t see coming
.I’m interested to see how he handles the crowd. He was awful on that stage against diz. Dude was making gay jokes that sounded straight outta 1989.
