Well it's always gonna be around and have an audience. But as far as it expanding right now, that shyt dead bro. People invested in it, and see the money isn't really there. It's a niche market.

I love battle rap, but it's been boring for a minute now. Not enough grudge matches, or memorable matches. Even battles like Ave and Rum Nitty, I don't go back to like I use to. Most of the time now, I watch battles from the 2010-2012 era. I rarely re-watch new joints.

Not enough real businessmen in battle rap.

Charlie Clips should be blackballed honestly.

nikkas hate DNA, but at least he comes prepared.

People like B-Magic and I hate to say it, but qlueen should have been blackballed too. Hitman also. The minute u steal and dont give it back is the minute u should be gone.

Smack doesnt have any sort of quality control, plus his match making is ass.

i think they all startin to fell that pressure they know without this battle shyt nobody gon be checkin for em, i fully expect almost all of those nikkas to either try to get rematches or to randomly pop off on new guys to make a match happen

That sad thing is that Verb does all that. He's in a movie, he's put out music, he battles frequently, he might still promote events, and he is trying to create his own reality tv show "Girlfriends Weekly"...

But it just seems like everything he does is half ass, so nothing really blows people away.

Remember when he was training to be a boxer or fighter of some sort.... what happened to that?

So Verb is a hustler, but he's a two bit hustler who likes to peddle knockoffs to fools.

He scrapped girlfriends weekly.

He needs a manager. Not everyone is cut out to manage themselves.

These guys have calculated how much they'll get for a Summer Madness appearance, and are just throwing stuff at the wall until URL cuts a check.

I think they tried to do the 2 on 2 Swave & Ice vs Verb and Holla, but KOTD can't afford that.

At one time, this was a battle that needed to happen. But Verb has watered down his brand too much.

So what's left? As fans, what do we really need to see? What are the most intriguing matches left? I'm talking mainly grudge matches. These aren't necessarily all SM level, just big grudge matches.

Hitman vs Suge
Tay Roc vs Nitty
Ave vs Bigg K
B Dot vs The Saga

Doesn't matter how I rate any of those battlers, that's five matches that are heavily requested and will sell tickets. The energy of the room is going to be different than what you see on youtube.

Anything else that is as big as those five?

I think an Arsonal/Hollow rematch would be crazy in any venue, but it's not heavily requested.
