Beasley got Magic looking nuts
Battle rap is not professional at all. Enough of the pretending. I support Smack and Beasley for saying how they feel.
Shine is their boy they don't give a fukk. They know he'll reschedule. It is what it is.
Im actually disappointed in Magic and how he handled the backlash. He was one of the most likeable and laid back guys in battle rap.
You beat somebody outta some bread you always in the wrong period.
After watching World Dom a few thoughts:
- The title match was cringe worthy to me. Both guys accusing each other of buying and borrowing bars from each other and others. Rone managed the most cringe worthy Caddy Ron bars of the event (side rant: there were SO MANY cheap throw in lines about recently passed battle rappers at the event that it was frustrating only a couple of them were anything more than cheap shock value or pandering). Some dude was screaming and killed any momentum Rone had in the third. It was just an awkward battle with too many "angles" and "personals" over bars. I edged it to Caustic but they were both ehhhh.
- Ice vs Big T was both dudes at their best. Ice edged two rounds but T bodied the third. I think Head Ice needs to get the next title shot, the past two title matches have been bland. I expect they'd improve a lot with Ice holding down the chain.
- Arsonal was the best I've seen him in a while. 3-0'ed Cortez.
- Thesaurus had a great performance, unfortunately Tumi made it an awkward sleeper.
- Serius clearly beat Pat Stay in Canada...that's a nice notch.
- I thought Bonnie held her own with Charron really well in hostile territory. Still edged to Charron but she did really well.
- P-Nut throws a LOT of punches per round, when he gets haymakers in the mix he's a threat.
After really listening to that magic round...word to everything he just wrote that shyt lol just predicting how he would flip aves name I thought of that same avenger shyt just freestyling. On everything he just came up with that. Anyone who raps can tell.
