His mannerisms. He's quite erratic and you can tell that he's a genuine rap geek with the way his mind works. I've met people like him before and usually they're so consumed by their craft that they don't really get caught up in any fukkery.

How does any of that correlate with being nerd? Based on you and wizworlds post, his social patterns just differs from the typical human being. Being well spoken and dedicated to your art =/= nerd. A rap geek and an actual nerd are two totally different things.
