But I got to remember there's Jerry Wess and Glueazy fans on this board.

URL didnt pay Mook, more than likely Diddy did that. SM2 had Ciroc sponsorship.

Clips got 20k for Hollow because he brought his own sponsor.

Hollow was bringing his own sponsor for a potential Iron Solomon battle

I don't think the URL is really interested in working with Hitman. When he started threatening Smack on twitter for not releasing Hitman/Con on his terms, the relationship went sour. They worked with him for a big battle that made sense at the time (Hitman/Surf) and most likely wanted to be done with him. However, Hitman's shots at Suge over the years as well as the emergence of Suge created another battle that makes sense.

Smack is cool with Hitman in "real life" - I saw them chillin together in NYC after NOME 5. It was just Smack, Hitman and like two other dudes. Out of all the battle rappers Smack could kick it with, it happened to be Hitman.

But on the business side, I think URL booking hitman is not worth the investment, headaches, drama. They can take him or leave him. And the more he jacks up his asking price, the easier it is for him to not get booked. And rightfully so.

Rell didnt have a chance, Glue just has that IT. His style was fire, reaper rell was a boring sounding dude and its not even his fault. His voice and cadence is just boring. But my man was out here acting shyt out and being animated, again its not his fault he was just born that way.

Ill never hate on a dude trying to get money, but these nikkas stupid as fukk. They putting a price so high no one can pay it so they dont battle. Theyd rather make 30k every 2 years than 20k a year.

Based on the AFR interview, from Hitman's point of view, he hasn't spoke to Smack in years.

Obviously he was embellishing it, but that can be interpreted as their personal relationship deteriorated.He said him & Beasley speak at times and will pick up where they left off.

No doubt when they see each other, they are cordial. No reason not be, but obviously there is some strain there.
