Bigg k is a bit gassed, but I think we are at that point where people are sitting back waiting for bigg k to lose rather then big up his winning streak.

This def was not a 3-0

Wasn't a great showing from bigg k either but he def didn't get washed.

1st round is debatable on first watch, I enjoyed both of their rounds.

Bigg K clearly won the 2nd, Showoff 2nd round was trash to me... ok maybe not trash, but like Solomon v Magic I can't give you points for rapping twice as long if you don't say more hot shyt than your opponent did.

I guess Showoff won the 3rd, but ehh

Debatable battle. Will have to watch the 1st again if I really want to determine a winner, but besides that I don't know if I'll be coming back to this battle.

Showoff's slogans are really terrible.

Bigg K's losses are openly discussed, and usually agreed upon in here. He's not nearly as highly regarded as Roc (or really any URL top tier) because he's not on the stage. If he was on the stage, he'd be a hotter topic.

We also had a conversation about Bigg K being stagnant/regressing recently due to being a punchline-type who can lose steam if the room isn't rocking with him. I believe some of us also called him gasses and/or basic in some rounds (was it vs Ice? Caustic?)

You keep saying that Roc and K do the same thing. So Tay Roc is a punchline dude now? I don't think so. I don't think anyone in this forum thinks so. He's aggressive street shyt type of dude. Most of the criticism he draws in here revolves around cringeworthy bars and forced aggression. Not everyone agrees on that, so we get into long drawn out arguments. Bigg K doesn't really have anything to argue about, so even when he's overblown it doesn't generate heavy convo. He's a puncher with a street edge and a good delivery, but he doesn't battle on the biggest stage (i.e the stage that sparks the most discussion).

I think people confuse simple with wack. You can be simple & fire(Bigg K) or you can be simple & wack(Tay Roc).

Does that mean everything K says is fire, hell no. Does that mean everything Roc says is garbage, not at all.

Roc has said some fire shyt over da years AND NONE OF IT has been complex.

So again it ain't about bein simple, 95% of battle rap is simple, it's about not bein wack.

I dont fux with 2 on 2's at all but the way they absolutely killed Chess/Steams had me rewatch that battle about 5 6 times the last couple weeks. That shyt was ugly :huhldup:
