I think it was because T and JJDD were pretty much battling each other during that 2-on-2 and the consensus was they were the only two that showed up. Obviously The Coli is kinda different than the general battle rap fans, but there actually was demand for this battle after that 2-on-2.
They have been going back and forth for years. But I don't think the match-up drew a lot of interest from fans before. The 2 on 2 gave the match a little bit of buzz, so here we are.
Pretty much. They dropped IG vids calling each other out as soon as the 2v2 battle dropped.
It was obvious they were either fishing for a Smack battle or it was already set up. Probably the latter.
I"m not feeling all of the IG call out videos leading up to a battle announcement tbh. Usually feels forced.

What's he gonna do about it? Maybe act tough and delay things like someone said but it's not going to stop Suge from doing it. No one's dumb enough to fight over that on stage or off it.
I don't know how URL even let Suge put his hands on people in the first place.
