Well he seems to be making a push, so at least he's really trying to get out of the mid-tier now. He signed a URL contract for a couple battles, and he has Charlie Clips coming up on Go-Rilla Warfare.

Hope he gets out of that mid tier bracket. Very underrated battler that has put in work but for some reason doesnt get the credit he deserves.

He doesn't have a group of people that identify with him. I mean he's Black & Mexican and he's from Chicago. I'm from NYC where you have every mix of race/nationality possible, and I don't think I've ever met a Black & Mexican person. I'm sure some exist in Yonkers or something, but I've never met any. He's also from a place where Black & Spanish people don't really seem to fukk with each other like that, so he doesn't seem to get much Chicago support.

On top of that, he doesn't know how to promote himself. He doesn't have a look, he doesn't really promote or talk enough shyt, and he's not disrespectful enough to grab a big name battler's attention.

And lastly, he only has one gear when he's rapping. At this point even Danny Myers has tried switching the flow and delivery up once or twice. By the 3rd round, everything YK is saying starts to sound the same. He still manages to mop the floor with lesser opponents, but he needs a memorable performance against a memorable opponent.

Speaking of Clips... I read somewhere that he has Young Kannon coming up on GO-RILLA WARFARE. Mz. Gracie is throwing a birthday card, or something to that effect.
That's either gonna be a shyt show, or Clips will clown the fukk out of YK & destroy every hope of YK getting out of the mid tier.

A game Clips will get it because while Yk has a slight lyrical edge, Clips is miles ahead in personality, but if Charlie plays with him Yk is always hungry and will walk away with it, the sad thing is people will just say Clips didn't care lol

So it looks like URL is going to try and sell us on this Goodz v Lux battle. Sadly it won't be the versions of Goodz and Lux that we saw in this video.
