Verb is getting desperate for a URL battle..

willing to give Cortez a rematch, willing to do a calicoe battle even tho it doesn't make sense, now trying to bait Saga who's dumb ass is falling for it

Norbes put it out there that he wants to make the battle. Verb is on his usual "if you pay me, I'll do it" shyt. Verb is actually being a professional by hyping the battle, even if no one cares to see it.

Verb at this point gives me a "mid tier" type of feel. He takes battles at the barbershop. He's willing to just battle anyone. You don't have to earn a battle with him.

How the hell does DNA take all these battles & you never see that nygga battle in the places Verb/Bmagic/Bigg K have battled at?

I really feel he should have been up there with Mook/Lux/Hollow. Instead, he's almost at that Cortez/Myers/Chilla type of level as far as status.

Also, for clarity, have you been to any battle rap events?

Honestly, I'm trying to get you to move on to the next part of the conversation. I feel like it's a legit topic but you are soliciting peoples' opinion, nitpicking at their presentation, and never offering your side of it (which again, I think can be an interesting conversation if it's going anywhere near where I suspect. I said it "seems like" to avoid actually putting words in your mouth while trying to get your take on it.

I haven't been to anything relevant to this era. All my live battlerap experience is actually backroom shyt where I was participating for offbook cash. Not sure what "clarity" means in your post, but there you go.

Have you been to some? Is there anything you'd like to share about how perspective is different when you see controversial battles live?

I got it now. Rum Nitty vs Young Kannon, mid-sized venue. That would be a crazy battle. I know YK isn't ever going to get the proper looks until he learns to promote himself, but damn that's a fire match-up.
Here's YK's latest wasting rounds on a no name. I hope he got a decent check.

So I think this would be barfest.. but if it's not on URL, it'd be another barfest that gets 25k views and isn't considered at the level it should be.

Anyway I've been to about 5 events in total. All KOTD events unfortunately since I live in Toronto but all big events with URL in the venue.

So I get what your saying. the feeling in the room cannot be captured on camera. When you are watching it live the energy is crazy and can away your opinion.

That being said I still don't see how anyone in the building could give it to swave other then the fact that they felt obligated because of where they are (NY) and the crowd reaction.

Trailers don't work for 2v2.

2v2 battles are just entertainment with nothing at stake. Can't create a serious trailer with content like that.

The whole trailer had the participants looking silly.
