I never understood calling Tay Roc gassed. It's not like he's from new York and has a new York bias. Maybe the fans just like his bars and delivery?

To me Tay Rocs delivery and bars go hard.

I personally thought rum nittys MOP ANTE UP bar was good but it wasn't crazy to me.. But nikkas on here and in the crowed was damn near throwing their hats in the air..

Does that mean ya'll gassin? Or did you legit like the bar?

I'm a Roc fan. He's in my top 5 and I don't admit to that. To me his reaction is deserving.

People forget NY has the toughest crowed. They are generally the hardest crowds to please. Artists, A & R's.. Fans have all said this.

So I just don't see why the toughest crowed would gas someone that isn't even from there.

Let's also not forget that Roc himself said he didn't like the way his DNA battle looked due to gas.

I agree that his appeal is not the strength of bars, and everyone's bars shouldn't have to be A1 to be considered elite or whatever. Original post was just my at him standing up there hearing that shyt that Ave was spitting and thinking "AND IF IT WAS ME IT'D BE WORSE." It's like "nikka you ain't written a round that dense in your career."

I think Todd is the only guy in battle rap that I am baffled by.

Even with battle rappers I don't care for, I can at least understand their appeal.

Todd is the one guy in battle rap that I feel is awful. His voice is terrible, he doesn't say anything hot, & he doesn't have the "it" factor.
